CO-PASTOR CHERYL COLLIER

Co-Pastor Cheryl Collier was born and reared in Canton, MS. She is the daughter of the late Brother John Woodard, Sr. and the late Elect Lady Gloria L. Woodard. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Washington, Sr.

 

She graduated Valedictorian of her class at Holy Child Jesus Catholic School in Canton, MS in 1976. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s Degree in Theology from New Life Fellowship School of Ministry.  She is a retired Registered Nurse of St. Dominic Ambulatory Surgery Center in Jackson, MS.

 

Co-Pastor Cheryl Collier is the wife of Pastor Simon Collier. They got married June 14, 1986 and reside in Canton, MS. They have three wonderful children. Deacon Simon Elliot Collier, II is married to Ella Latrice. They have two beautiful daughters; Simone and Skylar. They reside in Canton, MS. Their daughter Minister Gloria Warren is married to Elder Bryson Warren. They are the parents of three handsome sons: Amari, Malachi (who transitioned early), Nathan, and a beautiful daughter named Eva. They reside in Sandusky, OH. Deacon Caleb Collier is married to Aysia Nicole. They reside in Canton, MS.

 

She got saved and Holy Ghost filled in 1974. God dealt with her at age 18 regarding the call to ministry at the University of Southern Mississippi. She served faithfully for 24 years at The Ark of Safety Ministry as Sunday School Teacher, Organist, Choir Director, and Teen Leader under the pastorate of her mother, the late Elect Gloria L. Woodard. In 2005, she began to walk in her calling as a Minister of the Gospel.  In June of 2010, she began to serve alongside her husband, as Co-Pastor, Worship Leader, and Sunday School Teacher of Living Water Ministry.

 

She is a Woman of God, a Worshipper, a Prayer Warrior/ Intercessor. She still enjoys taking care of people both naturally and spiritually by encouraging and pushing them into the things of God. Her greatest desire is to see people come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ and to experience his presence and power of the Holy Ghost in their lives. She loves singing, listening to Gospel music, reading, sitting at the table looking out the back door at the beauty of God's creation, and spending time with her grandchildren.
